What is the lifespan of Petzl climbing and safety equipment? +

The lifespan depends on the material: metal products (like carabiners,cramponsand ice axes) have no fixed lifespan, but plastic and textile products (like harnesses, slings,helmetsand ropes) have a maximum life of ten years from the date of manufacture. Does using a CORE rechargeable battery affect lighting performance? +

Yes, a lamp's lighting performance changes when you switch from standard to rechargeable batteries. The main differenceis inlighting stability. After a half-hour of use, the performance of standard batteries drops below that of rechargeable batteries.
