how to not flirt with girls and make them flirt/come to you?

in my last question.. a girl turned me down and ignored me… so now im like forget girls… but i always wanted to know how to not flirt girls but make them come to you… like should i get my reputation up at school…be good… r just like flat out ignore them…. if you have any guesses… that would help me…i really need a girls opinion though..
